Fickr

I created a Flickr account this morning and took some pictures of leaves to share with a friend. It was easy to set-up. I just have to remember to write down my registration information in my “little pink book.”

It really is a great way to share photos with family and friends who request photos frequently. A former co-worker uses Flickr to advertise her artwork.

I did a search for libraries and Flickr. I enjoyed the photo collections of Hennepin County Library system in Minnesota. They have many collections including those with images of programs, artwork, staff, and library buildings.
